"Fall Favorites" with From Nanny to Family

Hi I'm Lindsay and on most days you can find me blogging about anything and everything over on my little slice of the internet {From Nanny to Family}.    When Kelly asked me to be apart of her "fall favorites" guest post I was super excited! I love fall and any opportunity I get to talk about all my fall loves I am all over it. Then I got to thinking- what is it really that I love most about fall? I excuse to wear a scarf? The need for a yummy hot Starbucks drink? Leggings and boots? Colder weather recipes? Fall scented candles? Jacket weather? Leaves changing? Baking with freshly picked apples? Halloween? The list could go on and on . . .   After much thought the one thing I kept coming back to was my family. Without my family none of that stuff would be fun or exciting. None of it would matter. The more I thought about it the more I realized fall is such a milestone marker in my book.   At the begining of every fall O&G start a new school year. We have family photos taken and we have many fall traditions to complete.   Every fall I get the opportunity to look through old photos and remember just where we were at that exact moment a year ago- it is priceless. So if I had to choose a fall favorite with my family, I don't think I would be able to- I love it all.    I love getting our yearly family photos taken.

I love going apple picking. Riding the hay ride to get a taste of apple goodness before going to pick bags full.

I love Halloween and all things that come with decorating, dressing up, and beggars night.

I can't choose just one- I love it all! I love how fall makes me feel. I love all the memories we create. I love new fall clothes, even though after looking back at photos I continue to rock favorites that are at least 5 years old. I love how fall is a segway to all the great holidays to come- Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years.  I love every single second that I get to spend during the fall making precious childhood memories for O&G.    Those are my "fall favorites" all rolled up into one with a side of Chi Latte and a fresh J. Crew scarf.
